This nomination recognizes the groundbreaking innovation of our Autonomous Irrigation Control, a key component of Crop Controller, which is now fully integrated with our known and proven Autonomous Climate Control.
Predict and control water supply with autonomous irrigation
In 2021, Blue Radix’s product development team delivered Crop Controller, the market’s first commercial solution for autonomous growing. The team continues to build and work on more modules to further expand autonomous growing with Crop Controller. Here Peter Goudswaard, Product Developer, and Csaba Balla-Somogyi, a graduate student at Blue Radix and MSc student at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), tell the story. Peter explains the challenges in developing the new irrigation module, while Csaba describes his related graduation project at Blue Radix.
